With the triumphant return of the Cygnet Ro's crew were reunited. It was Jared who suggested selling the vessel to pay for the Klingon's Court costs. Ro' gave Tell the choice. Since she had killed the former Captain, by Klingon Law, the ship was hers. Tell was only to glad to have the ship out of her life for good.
This left Leah stranded. She had no ship to go to and no crew to vouch for her. Or so she thought. When Hay'legh told Ro' of her helping the three of them escape and overpower the crew he begrudgingly agreed to take her as a passenger back to a more popular Federation station. She would pay her way by acting as navigator.
Leah knew that she had only a short time to impress this Captain if she wanted to stay on the ship. Ro' knew she had turned on her previous crew, and had the same potential to turn on him. It would take a long time to overcome the suspiscions.
