Alligences 1 – Together again

The corridors of the Cygnet were empty. In the distance, Tell and Leah could hear shouts coming from the Crew’s mess. It seemed like the crew’s enjoyment of Hay’legh was reaching its peak. Tell hoped they would get there before it was too late
"So" asked Tell "What happens next, do you have a plan?"
Leah thought for a moment "if your friend there is anything like she was on the bridge she might be holding her own for the moment. When I open the doors make precise shots, we don't need a hull breach in there."
The pair moved cautiously down to the door to the Mess hall. The noise had subsided considerably. Tell feared what they would find. Leah began to wish the Cygnet had a shuttle that they could just get in and leave. She felt sick thinking of what was happening to the Romulan woman.
When they arrived at the door they found it closed and inside silent. Leah passed her gun to Tell and keyed in the opening code. The door slid aside.
Hay'Legh spun around at the sound of the door opening, she had been bent over the Nausican trying to find something to cut the bindings around her hands. But as soon as she saw Tell standing in the doorway, she frowned. Around her were the broken bodies of twelve dead men and her own body sported numerous cuts and bruises. The Rihan straightened and her gaze focussed on the two women at the door.
"Tell, instead of standing there staring you could cut my bindings so I can put my pants back on, I'm feeling a littel exposed."
A whistle came from behind Leah and Tell, Tell spun to point the gun at Jared who was admiring Hay’legh’s work.
She shook her head and tut tutted at Jared whilst wavering the gun from side to side then lowered the weapon.
"Now that's a breathtaking scene on so many levels. Not least of all Tell's new look! Nice dress! Don't know about the hair though. Did you get my present?"
Tell smiled at him, her hair would grow back she made a show of brushing the non existent hair behind her ear. "The little dragon was my wake up call thank you Jared and she smoothed the dress down."
Jared blinked twice, "It was a meant to be a horse."
He quickly counted the bodies, "Now... I did a quick headcount with the sensors a little after Hay'legh was captured. I think there's only four of the crew not here. Two I just ejected in a cargo pod. That only leaves... that unpleasant captain and one other."
"Their dead" came Tells flat voice
"Oh... um... well in that case... I think we're the last people aboard."
He glanced at Leah quizzically, "Are you with us now, or just the last one not dead?"
"Well, I for one am starving, what's to eat round here" asked Tell "Chips, chocolate, cake anything....?"
Leah glanced to them all a moment. The odd thing was she didn't have much of an answer for Jared, she might still be both of those. "I should get us back on course, we will have eight hours before reaching Ubatti again. I would suggest everyone get some rest".
Leah walked to the bridge and eased into her familiar chair and console. She put in the navigation for the quickest way back to Ubatti. The captain and all her shipmates where dead or gone and she had an uneasy feeling of being both relieved but also lost. Reaching her hand under the console she verified the disruptor pistol was still in place and fully charged... just in case.
Leah glanced back a moment later to see Hay’legh. "Course set" is all Leah said looking to the stars out the viewport.
