The walls of TorvaD's mansion were very high and designed to look imposing. Fitted stone over a Klingon Enforcement structure; capable of with standing small ship weaponry. A slight incline, too steep to climb gave a forced perspective impression of height when viewed from the base. There were no windows, and only one door. This door was guarded by four armed Klingons and a security monitor.
As nIH'wI, Tell, Marla and his shipment approached they got a clear indication that if the camera had not been on, these guards would probably be asleep. It was obvious they cared little for their posting, and less for the man they worked for.
One stood by the gate's access panel, a second under the security camera. The other two approached nIH'wI and his herd of Bregit. The large animals shuffled, too stupid to be afraid of the Klingons' proximity.
"Nothing comes in today, Orders of Thor'nan." The lead Klingon said simply.
"But I have his order here, and something a little special too!" nIH'wI' responded opening his arms in a placating way to the guard.
"Elven prime Bregit for TorvaD's table, and..." Here he gestured Tell forward. Marie flanked her as if guarding her prize. "Look at her arms gentlemen. Prime Mal'kor DebngejwI', and only days from ripening."
This caught the attention of all the Klingons and the four gathered around Tell looking at the angry purple streaks up her arms. As if to illustrate the point Tell vomited violently over the nearest Klingon. He leapt away just in time, causing the others to laugh.
"Well, are you going to turn away so fine an opportunity?"
The lead Klingon looked reluctantly from Tell to the gate, "Well... TorvaD would be interested. But we have orders not to let anything through. NiS, GO and find Thor'nan. Get him down here. Karg, check the Breggit."
The officer nearest the gate began to key in the entrance code as one of the others moved towards the gathered Brgit. nIH'wI' began to sweat and hastily produced a data PADD, "Now if I could just have your authorisation print for payment of..."
There was a beep as the door unlocked. A moment later there was a loud crash as the Klingon nearest the Bregit went down unconscious. The confusion was enough to buy time for Marie to draw a Hypos spray and hit the Klingons closest to them with enough sleep drugs to put them down for hours. the one buy the door turned to see what was happening. Then stopped as a D'k'tagh buried itself in his chest. He dropped dead tot he ground.
Marla moved quickly from among the Bregit to recover her blade. May'bel followed massaging his wrist. The Klingon's jaw had been harder than he had expected. Marie and Tell began to drag the two sleeping Klingons into the bushes.
"Wait," nIH'wI' cried. "I said to wait till AFTER I had got payment."
He picked up the limp thumb of one Klingon and pressed it onto the PADD where it registered the sale. "Right, I am off."
And without further word he hurried back through town.
