OOC: Note that this party is taking place on DS7 not the FHew. Interesting that at least one Klingon Beq has joined the fun on station.
Marie returned to find the party in full swing – raucous but well behaved.
“Hey, everyone!” she called over the noise. “Chief Jrez just introduced me to a wonderful holo-program. It’s an old bar in Marseilles called Chez Sandríne. How about we move the party there?”
Leah perked up a bit to listen, the Klingon Beq beside her was yelling loudly as she winced and took another generous drink "Fine by.."
Laughing a bit Leah pushing the Klingon who was swaying off her shoulder "Sounds great, wait.. there is a holo projector?" She turned again and leaned to the side letting the Beq slip to the deck in a drunken sprawl.
Tell went to her quarters to change and pick up a rucksack, she would spend some time in the old bar but would leave as soon as it got crowded. She had other plans that didn't include lots of people, the noise in here was getting worse and no matter how much she fought it, the feeling of being trapped with out no means of escape could be overpowering sometimes, she didn't need a panic attack. She picked up the things she needed and headed out with the others to Chez Sandrines.
Hay'Legh had just stepped into the bar when she overheard Marie's invitation. Her visit to the medbay had been quick and relativly painless, with only a few raised eyebrows at seeing a Rihan seeking them for treatment. The 'Fleeters will need to get used to seeing more of her people here concidering how close they are to the Romulan border.
She did not move immediately to the holosuite to join Marie, instead she waited until all of the F'Hew crew had entered - any who remained in this bar would be asked 'nicely' to join the rest. Hay'Legh wanted everyone where she could see them. The F'Hew wanted no trouble in DS7.
Marla walked in and joined the rest of the party, but she sat at a table away from the group. Part of her still was trying to fit in, and she didn't want to join any group that didn't want her there.
Tell was offered a drink and looked around seeing a friend by herself she went and sat beside her.
"Hi Marla" she asked sitting down beside her "What are you going to do now were away from the old rust bucket?"
"Nothing at all. Just sitting here, and thinking."
Tell felt sorry for her friend who was wanting to join in but at the same time feeling unable to.
"How about coming to the holosuite with me? Its just a programme I put together where I can play some of my music, but I need to do some shopping first. Do you want to join me?"
Marla made a face. She was not a big fan of shopping. She thought for a minute. It would be good to at least get out for a while. Do something different. "Yeah, sure. I'll join you."
"That's great Marla" and they both started to walk out "Have you heard this joke The starfleet graduate with a Science degree asks, "Why does it work?" The starfleet graduate with an Engineering degree asks, "How does it work?" The starfleet graduate with an Accounting degree asks, "How much will it cost?" The starfleet graduate with an Arts degree asks, "Do you want fries with that?" and laughed
Marla smiled. It had been to long since she had traded jokes with Tell. "I like that one, and when I think of a good one I'll be sure to let you know."
Marie saw Varquis and Hope heading for the exit. She dashed over.
“And where do you two think you’re going?” she asked, good-naturedly. “Marla, have you ever played pool? Chez Sandrine has an excellent table. Mind the sharks but other than that.... I’m sure we could have some...fun....”
"Never even heard of it" replied Tell "Have you Marla?"
"Nope, not at all."
“Come on. I'll teach you. Matlh told us to enjoy ourselves and we wouldn’t want to disappoint our Captain, would we? Especially not when he’s paying,” she added with a lascivious wink.
