Physical Description		An old, grizzled Klingon covered with the scars of battle. Although he appears large, if not overweight, he moves with a grace and speed that often catches opponents fatally off guard.

General Overview
"Uncle" Ro' is a disillusioned commander who's lived his days of glory and come out alive. Now he faces a slow and withering death in a diplomatic role. He wishes for an honourable death and knows that it is almost certainly beyond his reach. This leaves him grumpy and occasionally reckless.
Strengths & Weaknesses
Ro' is physically still at his peak. He is a wise tactician but much of the caution that kept him alive during the Civil War and Dominion War he has now discarded. What use is caution if you end up dying in your sleep?

Ro' was the military might in his generation, though it was the elder brother Matlh after whom the family was named. Ro' taught Haqtaj much of what she needed to learn to become a great warrior and powerful leader. Long after Haqtaj had progressed up the ranks from B'rel, to Vor'cha and even Admiral, Ro' stayed with his own IKC FHew. It had been new off the line when he had first taken it and he wore it like a second skin. In it he fought Ferderation, Romulan, Klingon, Cardasian, Bajoran, Gorn, Tholian and even the mythical Lyann.

At the final battle of the Dominion war he and Haqtaj had led the vast armada of the Matlh empire into a blaze of glory. Haqtaj, Ro' and one other ship survived. 300 were lost. Naturally this became a sign of great honour and might, but with only three ships the house of Matlh no longer had the strength to hold it's military titles. One by one they were surrendered by Qaq in the Council for some specific concession.

Now the FHew had been refitted as a science vessel, and he had been given a Romulan First officer and a Human engineer as a sign of good will to the tow allied empires. Another concession.

But the heart of a warrior still burns in Ro' chest. He will find his glorious death, even if it means destroying the FHew to do it.

Involved in the rescue and recovery of the USS Arcadia, as well as the evacuation of Starbase 611 in the midst of a Gorn/Tholian Attack.
