Lest we forget... – Its you

It was Jamie Esperanza's off duty time and he was with friends going to the bar where the crew of the Klingon vessel were throwing a party. He wasn't in the mood for enjoying himself as he had just pulled a double shift on comm duty. His replacement had called in sick, but well he would go for a short time and then slip out when no one was noticing.
When he saw her walking along the promenade he thought he was imagining it and that it must have been a trick of the eye. He watched as he saw who he thought was his sister walk in to the bar, she was greeted by some of the Klingon crew who forced a drink into her hands and slapped her on the back in greeting. She smiled the small smile he remembered she had. Tell looked uneasy in company, struggling with agrophobia.
His attention was diverted for a while by his friends.
"Come on Jamie" urged Fliss "Come and join us, you've just worked an eighteen hour shift, you need to relax."
When Fliss found that his attention was elsewhere she looked in the direction that he was looking in." squinting her eyes to get a better look. "Who are you looking at?" she asked
"Just the Klingons over there from the FHew, what are they celebrating do you know?" asked Jamie
"Who knows" replied Fliss shrugging her shoulders "End of a mission, some famous warriors day, they don't really need an excuse to have a party they just do, why are you interested?"
Jamie looked again watching Tell talk to a Klingon woman. "Some of the crew look human" he pointed out
Fliss sighed and shook her head trying to get Jamie to come and join the rest of the crowd. She wished that Kriss was here but he was off station somewhere. He knew how to have fun, Fliss gave in and stood by the assistant comms chief.
"Some of the crew are human, XO is some kind of Romulan quite a mixture they say."
"Who's the one in the different clothes talking to one of them"
Fliss took another long look at the person that Jamie asked her about. "Ah that would be their chief engineer, her name is Hope, don't know her first name though."
Chief engineer thought Jamie, that would be so like her, she loved to tinker and fix things. He watched as Tell moved over to the bar to give the Ferengi something and then walked out.
"Gotta go Fliss, see you later guys." Fliss watched him leave and wondered what it was or who it was that Jamie was so interested in. She wanted to find out.
Jamie heard the complaints from his friends as he turned to leave and follow the Chief Engineer of the FHew out of the bar and into the crowded promenade.
